Kishan demands probe into deer poaching case

BJP floor leader in Telangana Assembly G Kishan Reddy today demanded that the government order a high-level probe into poaching of deer.

Talking at the Assembly media point, Kishan Reddy has phooh phoohed the arrest of three persons after he raised the issue in the House. The arrests were just an eye wash and they were produced in a court averting the attention of the media.

The deer were poached by four persons, including a ZP member belonging to the ruling party. He alleged that some influential leaders of the TRS were trying to save those who were involved in the illegal act and even they threatened forest officers, who tried to prevent them. The culprits were returning after hunting. But they lost the way in the forest and abandoned the carcasses, the BJP leader said.

Telangana TDP working president  A Revanth Reddy alleged that son of a Deputy Chief Minister was involved in the poaching case that took place in Mahadevpur forest in Bhupalapalli district. He said the government has failed to take action against those involved in this illegal case. (NSS)
