Kolkata triple murder: Man admits to killing wife, twin sons

Kolkata: Neil Fonseca (49) whose twin sons and wife were found dead in their house last month has admitted to murdering all the three, police said on Tuesday.

Debasish Boral, Special Additional Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Crime) said that motive of murder is yet to be known, but Neil Fonseca has a debt and was also involved in an extra-marital relationship. Police had recovered three bloodstained kitchen knives and a 25-pound dumbbell from the crime scene. Earlier, Fonseca had claimed that his wife killed her two sons before killing herself.

The bodies of 16-year-old twins, Darren and Joshua, and their mother Jessica Fonseca were found inside an apartment in Kolkata’s Palm Avenue area on January 16. Neil Fonseca was also found critically injured with deep cuts on his throat and hand was interrogated by police on Monday and Tuesday.
