Nalgonda MLA and former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has said the expenditure incurred by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on China tour would have been sufficient to meet loan waiver to farmers.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Komatireddy ridiculed the statements of Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Congress dharnas. He advised Harish Rao to read news reports on farmers’ suicides everyday. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should not forget the fact that even former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao had also lost elections due to public resentment.
