KTR flays Cong, TD on bye-poll

Municipal Administration and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today criticized that the Congress is enacting humanity and sympathy drama for Palair bye-poll fearing debacle. In an open letter KTR sought the Congress to tender an apology to people for having poll- truck with the Telugu Desam which is opposing Bhaktaramadasu and Sitarama Sagar projects in the state. The TRS Government has shown its sympathy by spending Rs 1 cr for medicines to Ramreddy Venkat Reddy when alive he said.

The Congress which has been accustomed to get defeated in the elections should stop death politics he said. He also alleged that the Congress is seeking to play sympathy card which will go futile. KTR took exception to the Congress for fielding Ramreddy Venkat Reddy after CPI legislator Razab Ali’s death and its chief Utham Kumar Reddy is talking humanity who did not abstain from contesting Huzurnagar bye-poll against Srikanta Chary’s mother who sacrificed during statehood movement. Fed up with Chandrababu’s unscrupulous politics, most of the TD leaders in Telangana joined the TRS and remaining three legislators with no other go will have to join the Congress he charged.

The TDP in Telangana which is on the verge of collapse with three MLAs is to join into the Congress and is deceiving Telangana people by not questioning Chandrababu Cabinet decision against Palamur project he fumed. The opposition parties cannot defame the TRS Government aiming to irrigate at least one lakh acres in Khammam district and one crore acres in the state. The people will teach these parties a lesson in the bye-poll and give mandate to the TRS, he said. (NSS)
