KTR flays TPCC chief for loose talk

IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao today charged State Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy with indulging in escapist tactics and failed to take his challenge of quitting his post if the Congress candidate gets defeated in Palair byepoll.

Continuing campaigning in Khammam district, the Industries minister accused Uttam Kumar Reddy of running away from taking the responsibility to respond and instead made some redundant talk, he said. “The Congress was just talking politics for bypoll though the previous government failed to develop the segment”, he charged.

KTR said while Uttam Kumar Reddy was indulging in loose talk, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was conducting campaigning only for mud-slinging at the government schemes of welfare. Since Telangana State inception, the ruling party was on winning spree in each and every election, while the Congress was habituated to face defeat, KTR said.

The Congress was talking humanity and Telugu Desam tradition as they could not convince the people and win the elections, he said. The TRS will win the bypoll and offer Godavari waters to the segment for two crops by filling Palair reservoir. The segment will get abundant waters and all minor irrigation tanks will be filled with Mission Kakatiya program of lakes revival, he added. (NSS)
