Information Technology Minister K. T Rama Rao on Thursday met a British delegation at the Secretariat.
The delegation, led by Britain Deputy High Commissioner Andrew McAllister, held discussions with the IT minister on the industrial policy of TS government and the incentives provided to the new industrial units. The minister said that the state government’s industrial policy provides a perfect atmosphere for the new industries and assured all sorts of help. He said the new industrial policy is giving clearance to the new industries within a fortnight and that the entire process is under a single window system, which is unique in the country.
The minister also explained the business prospects in the State and sought UK investments in various sectors. (INN)
