KVP writes to A P Speaker on Removal of YSR Photo


Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Member KVP Ramchandra Rao has addressed a letter to the Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad requesting that former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekar Reddy’s photo be reinstalled to its position in the Assembly Lobby.

Rao stated in his letter: “ I am devastated by the fact that YSR’s photo has been taken off the Assembly corridor. Late YSR has done enormous service to the people in various positions such as minister, Chief Minister and parliamentarian. Nobody has the right to take it off without your due permission, so I kindly request you to place it back ”

It is stated that on Monday, YS Rajashekar Reddy’s photo on the walls of the Assembly corridor has been removed. The late leader’s photo was pulled down without any prior notice.(NSS)
