Hyderabad: Lady pilgrim belonging to Kurnool died in Makkah Mukarrama during Hajj days. Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee, Prof. S A Shukoor told that Mrs. Shaikh Mahboob Bi (66) went to Hajj along with her nephew Mahboob Basha on August 25, they were to return on October 18. She was shifted to King Abdul Aziz Hospital on September 2 due to high blood pressure and diabetes, where she died yesterday night while undergoing treatment.
With this the number of pilgrims who died in Makkah has reached to 2. Recently another pilgrim of Hyderabad died during stay in Arafat. Prof. Shukoor informed that 3 more pilgrims have been shifted to hospital due to illness.
Meanwhile pilgrims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have returned to their buildings in Makkah Mukarrama after performing Hajj. They will be taken to Madina Munawwara 8 days before the return journey.
