Alleging that land mafia spread across the Telangana State, CPI leader Dr K Narayana said the land mafia was getting full support from the Ministers.
Speaking at CPI Jana Garjana here on Monday, Narayana demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao initiate action against the land mafia.
Earlier, Narayana participated in the rally conducted by the tribal and dalits demanding that the State government protect their ‘podu lands’ under the aegis of CPI. They organized a rally from Kothagudem Market Yard to the Collectorate. Later, they staged a dharna there. Speaking on the occasion, Narayana demanded that the State government stop “atrocities” of Forest officials on tribal people. He asked the State government to protect the podu lands of the tribals.
