Udaipur: In an unfortunate incident a 12 year old girl was killed by leopard in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district. Ravina, was asleep on the terrace of her house with her parents when the leopard reportedly caught her by the neck and dragged her away. The child’s mother was unaware of her absence until 4 am when the family launched a frantic search operation.
The incidence has triggered outrage amongst the local villagers, who are upset with the government’s ‘inactivity’ in curbing leopard menace in the area. This is the second incident in a span of just one month.
Ravina’s mutilated body with teeth marks was later found in the backyard of the house covered in mud, reported Udaipur Kiran.
