Hyderabad: According to a press note issued by Ms. Surayya Jabeen, the monthly literary session of Mehfil-e-Khawateen will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 13th August at Urdu Hall, Himayath Nagar, Hyderabad. Prof. Fatima Parveen, former Head of the Dept. of Urdu, OU will preside over the function. Ms. Nusrath Sherwani, Ms. Lakshmi Devi Raj, Dr. Najamussehar and Ms. Ameena Tehseen will be the Guests of Honour. Ms. Azizunissa Saba will welcome the guests. On the behalf of the association felicitation would be offered to Dr. Ashraf Rafi, Dr. Avadesh Rani and Dr. Humaira Jaleeli in recognition of their literary contribution.
Dr. Askari Safdar, Ms. Naseema Turabul Hassan, Prof. Habeeb Zia and others will express their views on their contributions. Ms. Tasneem Johar will conduct the meeting. After this meeting, a Mushaira will be organized. Ms. Muzaffarunnisa Naaz will conduct the Mushaira. The Urdu poetesses of Anjuman-e-Khawateen will recite their poems. Ms. Atia Noorul Haq will propose vote of thanks.
