Lodge worker murdered at Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A lodge worker was murdered at Kukatpally on Thursday. He was thrashed by four persons and suffered severe injuries. He succumbed while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Sunday.

As reported by the Times of India, 28-year-old, P Nagesh, son of Shankar from Yellammabanda in Kukatpally, was an employee of Anand Lodge in Bhagyanagar Colony of Kukatpally. He was having an affair with a 25-year-old woman from Yellammabanda for the past one year.

Nagesh had promised to marry her while hiding the fact that he was already married. Exploited by him on the pretext of marriage, the woman insisted him to marry her too. However Nagesh refused to do so.

According to police, the woman narrated the whole story to her brother Venkat, who in turn arrived at Anand lodge along with his friends and forced Venkat to marry his sister. They had heated arguments. Following which Venkat and his friends lost their cool and thrashed Nagesh using sticks and abandoned him on the terrace.

Nagesh was rushed to Gandhi Hospital by lodge workers, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment on Sunday.
