Madrasa students arrested at Shamsabad Airport suspecting them to be terrorist

Hyderabad: Mohammed Idrees and Mohammed Jameel, natives of Jharkhand who were working in an Islamic orphanage at Towlichowki went to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad yesterday for site seeing. CISF suspected them to be terrorists, arrested them and handed them over to RGIA Police. Intelligence Agencies interrogated them but they could not find any objectionable information. They were given clean chit.

Inspector of Police, Mr. Mahesh told that they would be released after fulfilling certain formalities. Uncle of Mohammed Jameel, Mohammed Shareef told that these boys would be presented before the Judge in the night at his residence in Bowenpally. They would be released after getting green signal from the judge.

It may be noted that earlier also many Muslims were arrested in the same manner but they were detained for hours together whereas the non-Muslims arrested in the same way were released in an hour or two. The question is how long will this attitude of the police continue? When will the intelligence agencies stop suspecting the Muslims to be terrorists?
