New Delhi: For film-maker Mahesh Bhatt, the upcoming sports drama ‘Azhar,’ is already a blockbuster and the ‘Aashiqui’ director just can’t wait to watch it on May 13.
Responding to Emraan Hasmi’s tweet, the 67-year-old actor expressed his eagerness by writing, “It’s a block buster ! Can’t wait for 13 th of May when the film hits the screens.”
“The judgment day is nearing! #AZHAR RELEASES THIS FRIDAY..” reads Emraan’s tweet.
Mahesh and Emraan have earlier collaborated for the films such as ‘Murder’ and ‘Gangster’.
The first schedule of the upcoming film was completed in October 2015 and has been shot at Lords, the Oval, Cantebury, Derby and Edgbaston cricket grounds and other places in the United Kingdom, including Harleyford Manor, Virginia Water, Mayfield Lavender Farm, and Windsor.
Based on the life of Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, the film also stars Lara Dutta, Gautam Gulati and Prachi Desai and is being directed by Tony D’Souza. (ANI)
