Hyderabadi Hajj pilgrim released from jail in Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad: A Hyderabadi Hajj pilgrim was arrested in Makkah for picking up a purse while circumambulation (Tawaaf). He was taken in to police custody four days back. He was produced before Qazi who released him yesterday.

On receiving the information of his arrest, Prof. S.A. Shukoor immediately contacted Indian consulate at Jeddah. The Indian officials of Hajj mission took up the case with Saudi officials. He was released yesterday. He will be sent to Madina today and He will come back to Hyderabad on 7th October as per the schedule.
