New Delhi: A major fire broke out in a garment shop in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar area on Monday evening.
Three fire tenders were rushed to douse the flames which had engulfed an old double- storey building.
Yashwant Singh Meena, a Delhi Fire Service official, said that the exact cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
“We got call about the fire at around 7.20 pm. The cause of fire is yet to be found out but it could be due to short circuit. There are no causalities,’ he told ANI.
