Hyderabad: Due to the negligence of previous rulers, the roof of Makkah Masjid has been damaged. The experts of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) have identified these defects and prepared a plan for repairs.
It may be mentioned that Govt. of Telangana allocated Rs. 8.4 crore for the repair works of Makkah Masjid.
According to the Director of ASI, tenders have been invited for this work. After the finalization of these tenders, repair works could be undertaken in first or second week of July.
