Minority Welfare Department has served show-cause notice to the Makkah Masjid superintendent for issuing statement against the government. Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel issued the notice to Makkah Masjid superintendent in which he referred to latter’s statement against the government.
According to sources Makkah Masjid Superintendent Mohammed Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui issued a statement in a newspaper regarding Ramadan arrangements in Makkah Masjid in which he alleged government’s negligence and carelessness with regard to arrangements.
Controversy erupted on statement against the government by a government official himself, following which Minority Welfare Department issued show-cause notice and sought reply. The statement of superintendent against the government is being considered as anti-disciplinary.
