New Delhi: A 40-year-old man allegedly killed his wife by beating her brutally over a spicy meal. She sustained 22 wounds and finally lost her life.
The horrific incident took place on February 11 at East Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area. Police arrested Subodh, who is a plumber by profession.
The victim Manisha and Subodh used to have frequent quarrels over his second marriage. Subodh married another woman named Muniya, after which Manisha left his house and was staying with her relatives in Rohini.
According to police Subodh called her back on February 10 with a motive of killing her. When Manisha saw Muniya at her home she lost her temper but Subodh assured her that Muniya is going to stay nearby and not in their house.
After few hours Manisha prepared a meal for Subodh which was ‘too spicy’ that made Subodh angry and he started beating her which ended Manisha’s life.
