Dholpur: A 25-year-old man, who recently got married, today drowned while taking bath in Chambal river and his friend is feared dead, in Rajakhera here.
Layak Singh, Gajraj (23), Rahul and Shamsher Khan, all residents of Rajkhera, had gone to take bath in the river.
Singh and Gajraj went deep into the water and drowned, Dholpur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Singh said.
The body of Singh, who got married last month and gone for a party with friends, was fished out, he said.
Search for Gajraj is underway, the officer said.
