Man held for threatening Jt. Sub Registrar


A special team of Central Crime Station arrested a criminal who was making threatening calls to Joint Sub-Registrar-1, Ranga Reddy district. 31-year-old, M Vamshi Krishna alias Ramesh has been arrested by CCS team. He was threatening Joint Sub-Registrar in the name of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officer and demanded ransom of Rs 2.5 lakhs on the pretext of conducing ACB raids.

CCS police arrested Vamshi and remanded him to judicial custody. The accused was earlier involved in a theft of 40 tolas of gold from his relative’s house. Police has recovered a motor cycle, sim card and cell phone from his possession.
