California: A man is sentenced to 1,503 years in prison for raping his teenage daughter over a period of four-year.
The 41-year-old California resident raped her daughter for four years. Girl who is currently 23, managed to speak out about the sexual assault only in 2013 after suffering the abuse for four years.
Prosecutor, Nicole Galstan claimed that the girl was first sexually abused by a family friend, her father, instead of protecting her, started sexually abusing her.
It is also claimed that the victim was raped two to three times a week from May 2009 to May 2013, after which she gathered courage to leave her father.
According to the report published in India Today, the victim told court, “When my father abused me, I was young. I had no power, no voice. I was defenceless”. She also claimed that she got pregnant by her father and had undergone abortion.
