Manish Sisodia’s office burgled, Documents, computers allegedly stolen

New Delhi: The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia’s office has been burgled on Thursday. Reports says a computer, important documents, CCTV camera DVR have been stolen.

The incident took place in Vinod Nagar area of his Patparganj constituency in east Delhi. Burglars entered the premises by breaking the lock of the office.

Senior police officer Omvir Singh said.
“There was a robbery at the Patparganj office of Deputy CM late night on Thursday. The exact time is not yet known.”

“The district forensic team has lifted finger-prints from the crime scene,” Singh said.

“The office was being shifted and most of the articles were already moved. However, some documents and two computers were stolen,” he added.
Police said they received a burglary call at around 9:20 AM following which a team was sent to the spot.

Upendra in-charge of the office said.”The whole office was ransacked and we we are trying to ascertain what others item are missing. The office was locked at 2:30 AM yesterday.”

He added.” The police, along with a dog squad, came to Sisodia’s office on Friday morning to investigate the theft.”
