Hyderabad: Begum Ali Siddiqui, wife of late Mr. Ali Siddiqui, Chairman of Alemi Urdu Conference presented a gift of 531 rare Urdu books to the VC of MANUU yesterday.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Aslam Parvez, VC of MANUU told that late Mr. Ali Siddiqui contributed a lot for the development of Urdu language which is laudable. It is the golden chapter of the history of Urdu language and literature.
Begum Ali Siddiqui presented a bouquet to the VC after giving the gifts of books for the library. Present on this occasion was Ms. Habeeb Siddiqui, daughter of Mr. Kabeer Siddiqui and granddaughter of Mr. Ali Siddiqui.
