Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has started taking steps for the preparation of Master plan covering an area of 1060 Km for Hyderabad. Attempts are being made to get this master plan ready by January 2017. GHMC will receive suggestions and objections from the public till 31st August. Govt. is concentrating on providing better civic amenities to the people of Hyderabad. Earlier, GHMC was responsible for preparing civic plans for greater Hyderabad. HMDA was entrusted the job of making plans for the outskirts of Hyderabad but after the formation of Telangana State, Govt. has entrusted this responsibility to a new agency LEA South Asia Private Limited. It is reported that a group of experts is associated with this company. It has been selected for preparing master plan.
