Karachi : Mauritius President Dr. Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim, who is presently on a four-day visit to Pakistan, arrived in Islamabad after holding a meeting in Karachi with Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan.
The Mauritian President, who is leading a nine-member delegation, was welcomed at Nur Khan air base by IT Minister Anusha Rehman.
Ameenah is scheduled to meet her Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain and will be discussing matters of mutual interest as well as issues of regional and international importance, reports the Dawn.
She will hold talks with the Pakistani leadership to enhance cooperation in economy, energy, infrastructure development and security. (ANI)
