Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan Rao today called upon the corporate bodies to come forward and share social responsibility in providing Education and health services to the poor.
Participating in a program organized by Malbar Gold jewellery firm, the Mayor said he would do his best and play a key role to develop Hyderabad City into a global city. On the occasion, the Mayor distributed financial assistance to 50 students, who are studying in government schools. The State government has taken up various welfare programs for the poor and corporation organizations should also come forward to help the government in implementing welfare programs, he added. (NSS)
