MCI bans admissions in 69 medical colleges including 4 from A.P. and 5 from Telangana

Hyderabad: Students should be very careful while seeking admissions in MBBS at various medical colleges. They should visit the website of Medical Council of India (MCI) to ascertain the status of affiliation and recognition from MCI .

It may be noted that Medical Council of India banned admissions in 69 colleges throughout the country which includes 5 medical colleges of Telangana and 4 medical colleges of A.P. In Telangana, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, Mahaveer Institute of Medical Sciences, SVS Medical College, Mediciti Institute of Medical Science, RVM Institute of Medical Sciences have been banned for giving admissions in MBBS.

In the same manner, four medical colleges in A.P. State have been banned for admitting candidates into the first year of their MBBS course. These colleges are: RVS Institute of Medical Science, Nimra Institute of Medical Science, Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Healthcare and Medical Technology and Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences.

Authentic sources of Medical Council of India indicated that in the entire country, 69 medical colleges have been banned for giving admissions. The Council warned the students who are desirous of seeking admissions in the above mentioned colleges. It is reported that this ban has been imposed for not complying with the deficiencies by these colleges.

It may be mentioned that in the next few days, the process of counseling for admissions into MBBS course for the first and second stage is going to be completed. The managements of these colleges are worried about the step taken by the Medical Council of India.
