MEA invites applications from doctors, Para-Medics for Haj service

The Ministry of External Affairs has invited applications from Muslim permanent employees working in Central/State Governments/PSUs/Autonomous bodies for temporary deputation to Consulate General of India Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to render assistance to Haj Pilgrims as Doctors and Paramedics (Allopathic) during Haj 2016.

Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor, in a Press Release on Wednesday, said that the deputation would be for a period of two to three months. Eligible applicants can fill up the application online which is available on website http://hajmea.nic.in/haj. A hard copy of the online filled in application form in original duly approved by the respective Competent Authority along with requisite enclosures should be sent to the following address: Under Secretary (Haj), Ministry of External Affairs, Room No 304, Indian Society of International Law, V K Krishna Menon Bhawan, 9, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi – 110001.

Selection would be done on the basis of length of their service, experience and desirable qualification. Interview for selection of the candidates would be conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, he added and said ‘February 15 is the last date for filing applications.’

The selected candidates should apply for an Official Passport immediately on receipt of selection letter, he said. He further said that details can be had from web sites www.mea.gov.in, www.hajcommittee.gov.in and http://hajmea.nic.in/haj. He appealed the employees working in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to submit their applications at the earliest. (INN)
