Meek Mill avoids jail, but gets 3 month house arrest

Washington : It seems like the outcome of Meek Mill’s probation violation has given a critical blow to his hip hop career, as he has escaped a custodial prison sentence, but will be under house arrest, during which he can’t rap.

The 28-year-old singer will serve minimum 90 days under house arrest, with a possibility of it expanding up to 12 months, depending on a judge’s review, TMZ.com reports.

The ‘All Eyes On You’ hit-maker has been banned from rapping, releasing any mixtapes and releasing new tracks and is allowed to do only charitable work for the community.

Mill had been on probation for violating the conditions of his probation for a drug and gun conviction from 2009. (ANI)
