Mercury continues to drop at most places in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Mercury dipped by one to five degrees Celsius at most of the places in Rajasthan today due to western disturbances and ongoing rains in several pockets of the state.

Also, temperatures were recorded below normal by 1 to 6 degrees Celsius at most places of the state.

Maximum temperature fell by 1 to 5 degrees Celsius at most places.

Meanwhile, Kota was recorded the hottest in the state at 41.5 degree Celsius followed by Barmer at 40.6 degrees Celisus, Jaisalmer and Bikaner 40.5 degrees Celsius each and 40 degrees Celsius in Churu.

Jodhpur recorded a high of 39.5 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 38.5, Dabok 37.4, state capital Jaipur recorded maximum temperature of 36.4 and Sriganganagar 36 degrees Celsius.

The MeT department has predicted a duststorm or thunderstorm along with rainfall to occur at isolated places in the state.

With a slight change in weather outlook, weathermen have warned of thunder storm accompanied with gusty winds at isolated places in the state.
