Hyderabad: Minorities Students’ Organization of Osmania University is organizing Milad-un-Nabi Conference at 11:00 a.m. on 5th March under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Qadir Faisal, former member of the Executive Council of OU. Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Ranjan Ratan Kumar, Addl. DCP, CCS of City Police, Mr. Iftekhar Shareef, Dr. Mohammed Mateenuddin Qadri, member of Telangana PSC, Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will be the guests of honour. Prof. Naidu Ashok, Principal, Arts College, Dr. K. Vinod Kumar, Principal PG College of Law, Prof. Syed Rahman, Director of OU Press, Prof. Mohammed Mustafa Shareef, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Majeed Siddiqui, Prof. Ayesha Farooqui, Prof. Atiya Sultana, Dr. Ashwaq Cham and others will address the gathering.
According to Prof. Mohammed Ansari, Head of the Dept. of Linguistics, OU who is the Convener of the Conference, the function will start with the recitation of Quranic verses by Hafiz Shaik Yakub Pasha. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Ali of the Dept. of Islamic Studies will propose vote of thanks. The function will be held at the ICSSR Hall, first floor of Osmania University Library tomorrow. All are invited.
