Srinagar: Separatist guerrillas on Monday attacked the ancestral home of Roads and Buildings Minister Abdul Rehman Veeri in Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police said.

“The Minister was not at home when the militant attack occurred,” police here said.

Exchange of firing was going on between the militants and the security guards posted at Veeri’s home, police said.
