MIM jittery due to rebellion in party

Political activities are in full swing in old city ahead of municipal elections. Rebellion of many key leaders of MIM has made MIM jittery. As senior leaders have been ignored in municipal elections and deprived of tickets many key leaders including ex-corporators joined Congress as a result Congress’ position seems strong in old city.

MIM leadership had no idea of the rebellion hence sudden change of loyalties has forced it to change its strategy. Ex-corporator Mohammed Ghouse’s joining Congress party has come as a big jolt to MIM in old city and many other ex-corporators and leaders are also thinking to follow suit.

Jittery MIM has made several changes in allotment of tickets in the last hour. Dissidents have been consulted and efforts are on to stop them from joining Congress.
