MIM leaders thwart relief efforts at Muslim localities: Prakash Goud

Hyderabad: Rajendra Nagar MLA Mr. Prakash Goud revealed that MIM activities tried to disrupt relief work in Muslim localities of Rajendranagar assembly constituency. When the MLA reached his constituency to solve problems faced by the people due to rains, MIM activists along with the corporators tried to stop him in vain by holding protesting.

On receiving complaint regarding rain water entering into masajid and houses in Indira Nagar, Baba Nagar, Hasan Nagar, when Mr. Prakash Goud reached Hasan Nagar, the corporators belonging to local party and their supporters stopped him on way and started abusing him asking him to go back. On this Mr. Prakash Goud angrily asked them do they not want developmental works in Muslim localities? Despite that protesting people tried to stop him and TRS activities from undertaking relief work. On this police intervened and arrested two corporators of Majlis and some activists.

Later Mr. Prakash Goud visited the areas along with TRS activists and got acquainted with the problems. He was informed that water entered into houses and masajid. Later speaking to media, Mr. Prakash Goud told that he had had enough and he would complain Chief Minister about the unwarranted interference due to which developmental works in poor Muslim localities of Hasan Nagar, Baba Nagar and Indira Nagar are getting affected. MIM leaders by hampering the development works are becoming the cause of Muslim backwardness. They are trying to deprive Muslim people of development. He claimed that he is being stopped from undertaking developmental works in the said poor Muslim areas for the past 6 years and the localities are deliberately kept backward.
