Minor boy among four killed in road accidents

A 14-year-old boy was killed when the moped he was riding was hit by a DCM van.

The gruesome accident took place at Dundigal Road on Sunday morning. According to police, the victim, N. Vinod, of Baurampet, took the moped of his father Tirupathi and drove it to the main road. He was hit by a DCM van and died on the spot. Another boy, who was the pillion rider, was injured in the accident.

In another case, A. Balaji Charan, 29, of Mansoorabad, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the car he was driving lost control and hit an open manhole. The accident occurred in LB Nagar police limits on Sunday evening. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours admission.

In a different case, A. Boina Srinu, 40, was killed after he was run over by a lorry in Miyapur police limits on Sunday night. Srinu was assisting a lorry driver in parking the lorry. However, he was run over by another lorry coming in reverse direction. He was immediately rushed to OGH where he was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Edukodu of Nalgonda district.

In a separate case, Raziya Begum, 53, died of injuries which she sustained after falling down from the scooter which her son Nooruddin was riding. The accident occurred near MRO Office in Falaknuma on Sunday evening. She was admitted to the OGH where she died on Sunday night. She was a resident of Mohammed Nagar in Bandlaguda, according to Falaknuma police. (INN)
