The Maheshwaram police on Tuesday began investigation into the suspicious death of a nine-year-old girl.
The victim, V. Vaishnavi, 9, was found hanging with clothes drying ropes at her residence in Maheshwaram on Monday evening. Initially, police suspected that the death could be accidental, but since she was alone when the incident happened, Maheshwaram police registered a case of suspicious death and began investigations.
