Persons belonging to minority community were attacked during Durga procession yesterday night following which tension prevailed in Mudhole and its surrounding area. According to details miscreants present in the procession hit the vehicle belonging to minority youth. Minorities were attacked with a planned conspiracy. Miscreants targeted houses of minorities in Mudhole and attacked elderly people, leaving 5 people injured. They also torched vehicles belonging to minorities.
Mudhole is a communally sensitive area located at a distance of 15 kms from Bhainsa. Locals alleged that police reached very late as miscreants started stone pelting and attacks on minorities which emboldened miscreants. They panicked minorities by shouting provocative slogans.
