Hyderabad: Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation has decided to provide financial assistance to the victims of contract marriages for their rehabilitation. Talking to newsman yesterday, MD of Finance Corporation, Mr. Shafiullah told that earlier, a complaint used to be registered by the police and no relief used to be given to such victims for their rehabilitation. Realizing it, the Dept. of Minorities Welfare allocated Rs. 20 lakh for this purpose. Such of the women who are victims of contract marriage should get a certificate from DCP and apply for financial aid. So far 6 women have been identified in South Zone.
