State Minority Commission stayed the construction carried out by the police on the land abutting Masjid Mahboob Shahi Malakunta till the matter is resolved. President Masjid Managing Committee M B Siddiqui and two members of the committee filed a petition with the State Minority Commission regarding unauthorised construction by the police on the way to masjid.
After the hearing of the case, Commission Chairman Abid Rasool Khan issued notice to District Collector Hyderabad, Commissioner police Commissioner GHMC, Additional Commissioner police Traffic, Deputy Commissioner of police Central Zone, Inspector of police Begum Bazar, Assistant City planner GHMC circle VIII and sought clarification and directed them to submit the report before march 5. The same day commission will hear the case.
