Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana is seriously considering reimbursing the entire fees of the students belonging to minorities on par with SC and ST students.
It may be mentioned that at present, Govt. is reimbursing the entire fees to the students belonging to SCs and STs and also EBC and BC students up to 10000 rank in EAMCET. Those who secure above 10000 rank in EAMCET are at present getting only Rs. 35000 due to which poor students are facing a lot of difficulties.
It is learnt from reliable sources that Govt. of Telangana has already taken a decision to reimburse the entire fees of minority students irrespective of their ranks but so far, no orders have been issued. It is expected that very soon GO will be issued.
In case, this facility is provided to minority students, in the entire state 1.25 lakh students would benefit from this scheme.
