I miss my childhood: Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai:He has achieved immense success and popularity, but superstar Shah Rukh Khan now misses his childhood days. “When I was young I used to miss my adulthood and now I miss my childhood,” Shah Rukh told reporters at the Nickelodeon Kids’ awards here last night.

The 51-year-old actor revealed that he watches cartoon shows at night when he is free. “Unfortunately, when we were growing up, there were not many cartoon channels so we did not get to see so many shows.

Now, in the night, I at times watch stuff from pre-recorded DVDs,” he said on sidelines of the awards show. “It’s my favourite awards show as I watch a lot of stuff on Nickelodeon. I have children of all ages, so I have been seeing it over the years. I enjoy coming here,” he said.

Shah Rukh was keen to get his three-year-old son Abram for the award ceremony, but he had slept early.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are open to the idea of working together in movies again and are optimistic that the same will happen only if an intelligent writer writes a good script and patient director direct it with them on board.

After coming together to host an awards segment, SRK and Salman gave a positive nod when asked about the prospects of working together again in movies.

“It will happen someday for sure. Someone will cast us together,” said SRK.
