Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today said the Mission Kakatiya and Bhagirath programs initiated by the TRS government was benefiting only contractors and the programs were not useful for the people.
Dr Laxman attended a program titled “village development is the country’s development” (Gram Uday, Bharat Uday”) a national program launched by the Prime Minister at Choutuppal in the district. This was the first public interaction of Dr Laxman after assuming office as Telangana party president. The BJP chief alleged that the TRS government has miserably failed to address the problem of fluorosis in the district even after two years of its rule.
Dr Laxman alleged that the State government was trying to crush the rights of sarpanches and MPTC members. (NSS)
