‘Mithai Ki Dukaan Pe Phuppa Ki Fateha’: AIMIM men hold up 2BHK stone laying ceremony

HYDERABAD: The AIMIM party workers made a hullabaloo during the foundation stone laying ceremony of 2 BHK project at Jiyaguda in Kulsumpura area on Wednesday.

It was reported in Hans India that the local AIMIM activists staged a demonstration after they did not found the photos of party President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin on the flexies and hoardings erected by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party men.

The MIM men accused the TRS functionaries for intentionally not putting the pictures on the hoardings and even restricted the entry of Dy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali to the event.

Mahmood Ali intervened and tried to calm them down but fail. The Dy CM asked the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to remove all the banners prior to Rama Rao’s arrival.

Providing two-bed room houses for the weaker sections and given to them free of cost are among the slew of promises made by TRS in its election manifesto.

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, K T Rama Rao laid the foundation stone for 840 double bedroom that are coming up on a 8 acre site at an estimate cost of Rs.71.40 crores at Jiyaguda.

Speaking on the occasion,  he said TRS government is giving the housing facility to the  poor for free and appealed the beneficiaries not to pay any bribe in this regard.
