Modern cops offering better services: Nayani

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today said that the State government was offering top priority to welfare sector and spending Rs 35,000 crore like no other State in India.

The Home Minister was inaugurating a police station at Pet Basheerabad modernized by spending Rs 35 lakh here. Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister exuded confidence that the new police stations equipped with latest gadgets and technologies will offer people-friendly services to the people. Unlike previously, the people, who used to fear to file complaints at police stations are now feeling free to do so as online services are made available. This will help prevent the crime rate, he said.

Since the TRS government was favoring the best services to the people at all levels, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao allocated Rs 350 crore for police sector to offer improved services with all facilities, he claimed. For the last two years, the government steps yielded better results as there was no incident in the State, the Home Minister said.
