Only Modi and KCR can clarify on TRS joining NDA: Dattatraya

Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Labour & Employment Bandaru Dattatraya today evaded direct answer on whether the TRS party would join the Union government.
Responding to the question, the Union minister said only Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao are right persons to say anything about the TRS joining the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
Dattatraya replied so when asked whether the TRS would join the Union government. He said the Prime Minister and the Telangana CM are alone could give an answer. On the question of financial package to Telangana State, Dattatraya said Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely would take a final call and take a final decision.
On the stormy JNU incident, Dattatraya alleged that the Opposition parties were needlessly making a fuss over the incident with a murky political plan. He also alleged that the Opposition parties were shielding anti-national elements disregarding the unity and integrity of the nation for petty political gain. He also disclosed that the working class would be benefited greatly due to GST Bill.
Meanwhile, Nizamabad MP and TRS leader K. Kavitha said the TRS would maintain equal distance from the ruling and Opposition parties at the Centre. She also clarified that the TRS would extend issue-based support to the NDA government. “We will support all the programs of the Modi government which would benefit the people. Kavitha hoped that Telangana State would get its share in Railway budget as well as in General Budget. The party would mount pressure on the Union government to fulfill promises incorporated in A P Re-organisation Act, she added. (NSS)
