Modi has lost all credibility: Kejriwal after PM’s speech

New Delhi: Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his address to the nation, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that he had lost all credibility.

“Modiji betrayed the whole nation. Not a single penny of black money has been recovered. There has been no reduction in corruption level. Modiji has lost all credibility,” Kejriwal tweeted, soon after Modi’s speech.

“Modiji sounds so hollow now. People have stopped believing anything that he says. He has become a subject of ridicule internationally,” he said.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader added that the nation patiently listened to Modi’s “boring speech” in hope that he will announce when we’ll be able to withdraw our money without any restrictions.

“But all we got was disappointment,” he said.

In another tweet, Kejriwal added that Modi was working for BJP-free nation instead of Congress-free one.

“Modiji (is) working for BJP-free India, not Congress-free India. People have started hating BJP so much that nobody will vote for them for the next 20 years,” he tweeted.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also slammed Modi and said he changed the subject just as he was speaking on political funding without making any substantial announcement on that front.
