Hyderabad: Leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir met Mohammed Ghouse former GHMC Corporator who is in prison at Chanchalguda for the past six days.
On this occasion, he discussed various legal options in this case. He hoped that Mohammed Ghouse would be released soon from jail. It may be mentioned that police had arrested Mohammed Ghouse on the charges of disrupting peace near Charminar two years back. This case was closed down due to non-availability of evidence.
NIA has reopened this close case under political pressure by the local political party. During his visit, Mr. Shabbir enquired about the facilities provided to him in jail.
A large number of Congress leaders had gathered at Chanchalguda prison on getting the news of Mr. Shabbir’s visit.
