Moroccan super heavyweight champion Badr Hari’s ex-partner converts to Islam

Rabat: Estelle Cruyff, Badr Hari’s ex-wife has reportedly converted to Islam, according to Moroccan news outlet Alyaoum24 in its weekend edition.

Badr Hari, a Moroccan-Dutch super heavyweight kickboxer is a well-known figure in the world of kickboxing and considered one of the best kickboxers in the world.

The 37-year old Dutch woman made shahada or the Islamic declaration of faith during the funeral of Hari’s sister in Kenitra, According to the same source, quoting the same source Morocco World News reported.

Estelle Cruyff, niece of Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff had been tied the knot with another Dutch football legend, Ruud ¬Gullit. They separated in 2012.

After a prolonged illness, Hari’s sister died earlier this week in the Netherlands. Estelle split up with Hari a year ago attended the funeral since she was friends with his sister; sources familiar with the subject in the Netherlands told Morocco World News.
