Hyderabad: On the occasion of the recognition of Palestine as a non-member of UNO with the support of 138 members, a gold medal was presented to the chairman of Indo-Arab League, Mr. Syed Vicaruddin for supporting the cause of Palestine.
This gold medal was presented to him at his residence by Ambassador of Palestine in India on behalf of Mr. Mahmood Abbas, President of Palestine.
It may be mentioned that Mr. Vicaruddin has been supporting the cause of Palestine for the past 50 years. This gold medal was presented to him on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Indo-Arab League of Hyderabad.
Present on this occasion were Dr. Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Vice Chairman of Indo-Arab League and Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, President of Deccan Wakf Protection Society.
